My 2011 Patriot Latitude with the 2.4 is starting to give me SEVERE trouble starting. It takes at least 30 seconds for it to start sometimes it doesn't start at all. It has 64000 miles on it and was trouble free until now. When it struggles to start if you slightly tap the gas pedal the whole car will vibrate and the engine barely starts. I have had it to two different dealers for the problem and they keep telling me it's perfectly normal. It is not normal, two houses down an elderly lady has the SAME EXACT Patriot as mine except hers has 80000 miles on it and she has never had problems with it starting. If it doesn't get figured out soon I am considering trading it in. I am very happy with the Patriot and I hope the problem can be found.

I run my Pat as my work vehicle and 5 days a week I turn it off and start it 30+ times and all my personal driving on top of that.

Its been run like that for almost two years now...put into service Jan/12, and I have zero issues with starting...one tap on the tip start key and away it goes, hot, cold, rain, clear...doesn't matter.

Check your plugs for gap (and condition) and have a load test performed on your battery. If you are still under warranty the dealer should have done those two things right off the hop.
