good stuff, Big Willis! you are an inspiration to the fwd jeepers however...... :worthless: Keep doing what you do buddy!

Dude... that is phenomenal. I cannot believe how good it looks that low. Well done, sir! I'm happy to see your ride looking that good, and I'm looking forward to hearing your long-term impressions on living with a 5-inch drop. Also, I'm glad you're keeping camber close to stock, and not stanced. How is the cornering?

After a spirited drive last night, on a somewhat twisty stretch of asphalt with some fun elevation changes (at some "extra-legal" speeds), I was reminded of how fun the Patriot can be, even on-road. I wouldn't call it a canyon carver, but it makes me wonder if it could be with a lower center of gravity.

when i first installed the coilovers, i set the spring rate to as stiff as they could go (didnt know how much travel there would be/didnt want it smashing guards) try rock the car and it didnt move..... so STIFF, and like glue to the road! i got sick of bouncing around after 3 days, so took rears out, drilled holes for adjusters, put back in, adjusted, now its at about half stiffness. had some rubbing issues on rear (nothing a large hammer couldnt fix).
as for camber, i finally recieved my bushes in the mail, now to press them in, install in the rear, fully adjustable camber all round.
up next, i have a few performance mods in mind....

Glad to see you got them in and enjoy them. What's your ground clearance right now?

cheers, it stands out and gets a lot of looks from people.
i only bought the coil overs because i was/am planning on swapping out the spring for an airbag. makes it an expensive $$$ job, but guaranteed to fit.
Cheers.
