Side steps?

Is that what they're called? Side rails? Anyway, looking for a decent set that won't cost me an arm and a leg to help us load and unload our kayaks. My fiancé and I are a bit vertically challenged so these would help. Anyone have any suggestions? I'd rather not lose any clearance if that's possible. Also, who would I go to to install these?? I am not handy...

These are the nerf bars I purchased, Amm24dmb. They are inexpensive and will definitely help you to get a step up for your kayaks. the only draw back is the front brackets hang down approximately 2 inches they are very easy to install....you can do it yourself! I have seen several other members with the same, hopefully they will chime in with their opinion on them or perhaps recommend one without the loss of clearance?

The rro rocksliders act as a step as well, without sacrificing as much clearance.

I had the same as 480 and they definitely held my weight.
