Pulled a plug today and found NGK zfr5f11 with v center electrode, silver colored plating on threads, 20 foot lbs break away torque, & .041 in gap.

Reinstalled with no antiseize on threads with 20 ft lbs torque.

So what is your question or reason for posting this? Not being a jerk just asking as I don't quite understand the reason behind the post. Those have been the OEM plug from day one with these vehicles.

Yes - its a vague statement ..... I'm confused as well.

Reason for original past:

I was told OEM plugs for 2.4 were SPOOZFR5 AP and SP0zfr5f11 for 2.0L.

Some have said plugs were made by Champion and others have said NGK.

Gap specs have included .035 and .043

Torques have varied from 13 ft lbs to 20 ft lbs.

And finally more people recommend using antiseize on the threads than do not. A Jeep service manager says use the antiseize; the NGK website says no.

Again, this is not being a jerk. Rather I am just offering you some good info. The 1st place you should look for any such info is always your vehicle's owner's manual. If it isn't in there then you start looking around. The plug info is right in the manual.

Hey NHPATRIOT,

On your last reply to me you told me your '11 manual stated to change plugs every 2 years vs. my '14 manual that states to just go by mileage.

This time the tables are turned. Unless I am blind, my 2014 manual does NOT list the part numbers for either the plugs or oil filter! Quite bizarro in my opinion. The plugs are not on the hood sticker either. I have the 2.4 engine.

If someone can direct me to these part numbers in the 2014 manual, I will eat crow.

Both the hard copy and CD simply say:

Engine Oil Filter: We recommend you use MOPAR® Engine Oil Filter or equivalent.

Spark Plugs: We recommend you use MOPAR® Spark Plugs (Gap0.043 in [1.1 mm])

Well, as I said, the 1st place to look is the OM but if not there you look elsewhere. It looks like 2012 is the last year the OM has the plug numbers listed. 2013-2014 it just says use MOPAR plugs as you say.

Should still be the same NGK ZFR5F-11 plugs in a MOPAR box though as they were earlier years. OP didn't say what year his vehicle is or I would have given a specific page in the OM if it was available( I always try and include that info ).

I don't recall ever seeing a Chrysler branded vehicle's OM giving an oil filter #? Usually spark plugs and then fluid spec's and such. Maybe though. Don't believe I said the OM would have an oil filter #?
