Consumer Reports has listed 3 Jeeps in their category of worst vehicles-the Wrangler Unlimited, Liberty Sport, Patriot Limited--the Patriot scored the highest of the 3 with 42 out of 100. Some of the low points the Patriot received were its poor acceleration and engine noise. One factor that is not considered in the report is off road capability, which in my mind IS a factor in purchasing a vehicle in 4x4. The Wrangler Unlimited received the worst score-17 out of 100 mainly for poor fuel economy, fit & finish, and front seat comfort---most people who buy a Wrangler or even a small Patriot KNOW they are not buying a big Caddy with tons of room---they buy a Jeep Wrangler for being a rugged 4x4 or in the case of the Patriot, a small reliable suv with some decent 4x4 capability.

CR reviews for Latte sippers
With apologies to latte drinkers-have read CR on autos for many years and they seldom rate good basic transportation very high--I know it drives people crazy-me too at times--BUT it is a Jeep-have put many miles on the cars and truck they rate low and have had very few problems with these autos-have driven the ones they rate high and while very nice-I found alot of other great things to do with the extra 25-35k I would have had to pay for the pleasure. IMHO mex border
