One of the things that have been puzzling me since the first test drive is the message shown on the display when one of the doors is open. I mean, I could understand using a shorter word to replace a longer one, but "ajar" and "open" are both four letters. Not to mention that "open" is much more basic English than "ajar", so non-English speakers would be more likely to understand the message if it said "open" instead of "ajar".
Hardly a big deal, and doesn't really matter to me either way, just wondering why.
