You can get one from MOPAR for about 81$.

I ever wonder why bug deflectors are so popular in the US.
Do you have so many bugs and flies that you need them or is it more a styling feature?
I ask this because they arn´t very popular here in Germany.

To my eyes, they're great for bugs but also for little rocks that could chip you paint on the edge of the hood, deflection of little rocks (bounce) so they don't hit your windshield. Better air flow (depending on shape), and last, reason of esthetic.

Rock chips and the bugs can are bad where I am at(chicago suburbs).....if you do alot of highway driving it gets really bad....

I bought mine at Mopar. Install was pretty quick and easy. You will need to drill a few holes in the underside of your hood to secure it but took only a few minutes.

I bought mine shortly after a rock chipped my windshield, hoping to prevent other small stones from hitting me on the highway. I've also found it useful when it's snowing- it creates an air current that lifts the snow over the windshield- less wiper use during the snow.

I also like the low profile look of it... nothing like the ones that stand up 90 degrees on pickups.

This is the cheapest one i could find:

It´s very aerodynamic, and you can get it in Jeep green.

;)

They will clog up the radiator and have the size of small birds??? :wow:
Are you talking about the same Florida every german wants to spend holidays at least one time in life or are you talking about alien invasion???

The only time my car was plastered with bugs in several years was summer one year ago . In dusk and then for about 30mins my Car was hit by hundrets of mosquitos and small bugs and it looked ugly the next day.
But a carwash removed them all.

I´m not sure about Rock chips. Well regulary they don´t fly of it´s own like bugs at least here in germany. Dunno if they have wings in Alien invaded Florida but if you get hit by Rock chips they were forced up by the car in front of you. So keeping a save distance about 60ft should make you save.
And if i have a Rock chips impact it´s are normaly below front plate so i don´t think that an alienbugshield on the hood would be very usefull.
