i would possibly consider them in powder coat black. great find nnj
It would depend on how tall you are, how long your arms are, and how high and away your boards are stored. But yes, there is a very good chance it could.Would these help at all for putting snowboards onto a roof rack? Or is the car low enough that i wouldn't need it?
My sentiments exactly Matty. The Pat's low enough that you don't need steps on it...the steps just reduce the clearance....I never liked the looks of steps but to each their own.
.
:loser1:Well if you're that 'concerned' don't buy the damn things. Jeeezzuss Friiiggiinnn Criminy!!
You know one thing that makes me sad about this forum....
It's not a very supportive one.
At all. There is a HUGE negative 'attack' vibe hanging over this place.......
Doesn't make it a very friendly place to share things in.
There are waaaay too may people here with their finger on the 'That looks stupid, you're a fool for using it, 'I' would NEVER use something like that. You kids are idiots trigger.
I'm sick and tired of having to walk on egg shells every f-kng time I post something on here, for fear of throwing this guy into another hissy-fit loop. You two going at it again? Time to chill out.
KFC, go to a neutral corner, sit down, and take a pill... a diplomacy pill.
Sheesh, guys, we're all supposed to be friends here. If you can't do it, try faking it.
I'll drink to that...i didn't once say anything like 'that looks like crap...only an idiot would do that.' I always keep those kinds of opinions to myselfWhile I agree with a lot of the posts in this thread (about the Patriot being low enough)... I won't look down on someone that may want/need them on theirs... for whatever godforsaken reason.
That being said... it's time to grab a beer and just CHILL OUT, folks!

Thanks Jimmy,
I intend to research these a bit more but am definitely interested. I'm 6' tall but am also 68 years old. I can easily load my kayaks on the roof but have to open the door and use the threshold as a step when attaching the straps. I agree with your comments re. the negativity on this site. I think it stems partly from the fact people don't understand the difference between the spoken word vs the written word and partly from the fact some people are buttheads. I recently discovered the ignore feature but haven't used it.
Thanks again for all the information, Earl
