Of course not doing the oil change on time, but what else? Installing accesories by yourself? Painting the muffle? Lifting kits?

Just be logical with your'e upgrades.

Depends who you ask

some swear you can change everything but the engine,
others swear you put a sticker on and the extra weight voids the warranty,
also different dealers have different relationships with chrysler,
some will let you get away with more than others,
had a neon,
1 dealer refused to touch anything under warranty,
another dealer didnt have a problem,
neon had Mopar CPU,(which they couldnt see)
new struts(one dealer wouldnt cover headgasket replacement because i changed the struts)
had cold air intake(which i removed because i didnt like it)

found out 1 dealer in my area had problems with chrysler corporate for charging fraudelent warranty work, so they couldnt get away with any warranty work,

i would just use common sense,
lift kits are questionable,
as lift can alter drive shaft, which will affect tranny,
ultimately that will be between you and your dealer,
how badly do you want that alteration?
worth risking the warranty?
i usually stay conservative in the beginning then go for the mods later on,
with the jeep, as much i want to lift it, am holding back,
currently starting out with more cosmetic changes, roof basket, fog lights, bumper guards,
then will decide if i want to go all out

Pepe,

The more you desire to have the mod, the more likely you will void the warranty! :)

How about having someone other then the dealer install a trans cooler? UHaul did a fantastic job on my hitch and wiring harness, I'm thinking about them do the trans cooler too. Will that void the warrenty?

I would like to know about the cooler as well. I plan on installing the cooler myself. But then again, I have the lifetime warranty so why spend anymore money? The owners manual also states oil changes at 6k miles not 3k. I guess I can save money there too.
