Joy here, I'm a returning Jeep owner. My first ever new car was a Jeep Wrangler which I bought in 1992. Got over 100k on it before getting "married and pregnant" in 98 and putting the Wrangler in storage at my uncle's garage.
It's still there. Waiting....
So I had a 98 Ford Taurus which was a "responsible mom car" ever since. Over 150K with little to no major problems. Recently she started just not being very reliable anymore, so I decided to go back to Jeep again, only this time, slightly more grown up. : ) My son says the Patriot is the "grown up Wrangler". lol.
I happy to be back to being a jeep owner, right where I belong.
