Hello,
I'm new to jp.com and just wanted to get some information. I just purchased a '12 Sport 4X4 5 spd and currently going to invest a little into it. Mostly, the intake, exhaust, and audio. I'll do the interior later, but for now, my biggest hit is audio. Any advice would help, thank you.

Here's what I want to do: Install a aftermarket Navigation system (no flip up screen) and new speakers. I'm not truly concerned with funding, but I do have a basis for what I want out of it: Form Following Function, thanks.

Hey Kortney! Congratulations on your purchase!

The stock speakers are a little more then useless. I purchased a set of Rockford Fosgate Prime speakers for the front doors of my Patriot. It makes a huge difference.

Any other mods planned? Post some pictures as well

The stock speakers are garbage. Find some good 92+db sensitivity speakers for a huge difference and easy upgrade. I like infinity, Boston acoustics, polk, and kicker.

Welcome! Just got about the same Patriot and already replaced the front speakers with 5.25' Polk DB series and the rear with Polk DXI 6x9's Already had the 5.25's from my JK and got some cheap adapte plates.

They sound great compared to stock, now Im looking into a sub

PatriotMB,
Thanks for the advice, you got a good deck solution? I really like Pioneer, but I've also heard negative things about them. I want a Navi/DVD system up front, any help is good. Thanks boss.

I was stationed in Japan, and they have an exchange new car dealer that they can order one brand spanking new. I wanted a stick (not an autobox driver) and 4 wheel drive, since I am stationed in Everett, WA now. Since it's a really good puller, I wanted to do something to it to make it more "ME" to it. So I bought one brand new. I'm out on deployment and am ordering everything separately now so that when I hit home again, I can start putting everything together and get some really nice pictures up. Eventually I want to get the soft leather seats that are in the Limited/Latitude and have "Jeep" stitched in them and have those installed. I'm eventually going to have a great looking Pat when I drive by those mangy kids in those ricers, which is something I voted against having one.

Just happend to run accross your post..

I've used Pioneer before but i'm not a big enough audiophile to know whos better when it comes to head units. My Patriot came with the touch screen stereo, so no need for me to upgrade it.

Pioneer seems to have good quality. It's been a while have you installed something different?
