Considering a 2013 Patriot, I asked our insurance agent to compare full coverage rates of the Pat vs. the CRV and Forester.
I was shocked that the Pat was the highest, about $90 per year more than the lowest.
I used these specs.: 2wd Pat ($18,000), AWD Forester ($22,000), 2wd CRV ($23,000). I told our agent I was looking at the base model with auto tranny and air conditioning minimum. Prices are conservative guesses, based on sticker prices and my bargaining skills.
The CRV was cheapest, the Forester in the middle, and the Pat was on top, with about a $90 spread from low to high.
I really thought the Pat would be the cheapest, thinking that it costs the least and probably is simpler to maintain (less bells and whistles).
Comments? And.......thank you.
