Just one criticism...

Installed the fronts this morning. They fit very nicely. My only issue is that they are very slick. Maybe a wash with dish detergent will help? Or maybe that will resolve itself with use? We'll see.

I'd predict that they would become more matte and not as slippery as it is exposed to sand, salt, and other elements during the winter.

The fit is great. They go high enough so the rug is well protected around the pedals. The driver's side does cover most of the footrest but not the upper two or so inches. They're pretty deep and fairly heavy, thick and strong. Other than the "TREAD LIGHTLY" emblem:( and the slippery finish I like them very much.

I've been rolling with my new Rugged Ridge/Tread Lightly mats (F/R) and cargo liner for about a week now. I am generally impressed with the quality of their product, as others have mentioned. They generally fit well and appear to be a quality product.

A few comments and observations on the mats:

-The driver's mat covers the majority of the footrest/dead pedal area - probably within a couple inches of the top. If they were to improve this mat, I would suggest they make it so it does completely cover the footrest.

-The passenger front mat is angled so that it doesn't provide 100% coverage of the passenger footwell area on one side. Meaning if your passenger stretches their (long) legs out, their feet may or may not be on the mat depending on whether they stretch their legs out to the left or right.

-Both front mats were kind of difficult to fit in place over the retainer buttons. It was a bit of a concern that I would break the plastic retainer off in attempting to fit them. Hopefully removal for cleaning will not be a problem.

-I concur with the comments here about the mats being kind of slippery when newly installed. I mostly drive back and forth to work wearing non-skid deck boots for work on the boat so it is not much of a concern for me. I have not done anything to try and remove the slickness, nor do I think I will. At this point it does not bother me personally that much.

-The cargo liner is of a different material which I assume is due to it's larger size. It fits great and should work well for the rear of the Patriot.

-The Tread Lightly logo graphics are attached with push nuts, the logo features are pretty visible. One thing I learned is that $5 from each mat set sold goes to support Tread Lightly, which seems to be a good cause.

maybe the "tread lightly"logo is on there because they are so slippery! :)

Did not know about the charitable donation. That makes me feel a little better. I had the same issue with the retainers but when I reinstalled them after cleaning them it went a little easier.

I just got off the phone with a rep from Husky Liners.I explained to her my situation and she said " usually if theres a problem,we just send out the one mat to replace the defective one". I said "thats fine" and i sent her an email with the photo of the warped/shrunken mat so she could send the photo to the engineers.I also gave her my home address so only time will tell if they send me a new mat to replace the warped one.

Glad they did the right thing. Good luck with them. Happy Holidays!:)

After having these for a few weeks, this is what they look like. First is the driver side, with only half of it. I wanted to get the very slight warping that you might be able to make out. However, its totally of no concern to me. It just doesn't look 100% snug. Sorry about the fuzziness. Second is the passenger side. Khmerog asked about this side and yes, it does slant on the upper right. I believe this is due to that corner of the carpet that has a sharp incline, so you wouldn't put your feet their anyway.

Edit: I think the passenger mats that just have the Rugged Ridge logo on them instead of "Tread Lightly" are the ones that don't have the cut off corner

Just an update, its been a few weeks since i installed the 2ND set of Husky Liners that Husky sent me free of charge since the first set looked like a wet noodle in my floor pan. This 2ND set of liners have shrank and warped just as bad as the first set over the period of a couple weeks. There must be something very wrong with these liners to cause a problem such as this. The new set they sent me now look just as bad as the pic of the first set i posted.
Conclusion---These liners are very poor quality and flimsy and have a problem with shrinking/warping,however there is one upside to this,Husky Liners do seem to have a pretty good customer service but i guess they would have to since the product is so poor.Steer clear of these floor liners!!
--I just ordered a set of Weathertechs!!!
