I've a UK, RHD, 2.4 that last night would not let me in the drivers door. All other doors ok and button moved up and down but locked solid.
After clambering in and out passenger side a few times I thought why not unlock door manually with key.
One fatal flaw in that idea was that the patriot has only a key hole on the passenger side (LHD driver's door-get it) so that was a no go.
As it is now saturday and dealer is closed I removed the pos from the battery and left it 2 hours and reconnected battery, locked doors and reopened, driver door unlocked this time, so ecu was reset and a 10mm spanner is now carried in glovebox in case it happens again.
As a plus note radio came on and didn't need code, just as well as I dont have a note of it.
