Do I have to reset the TPMS sensors in each rim or will they auto learn there new locations after a tire rotation? I've been doing some research and I can't find a direct answer to my question. The Compass has a EVIC so I get a PSI reading for each corner and not just a dash light when the pressure is low.

If the sensors do have to be reset, how so?

Thanks

It seems to automatic. Each tire has a pressure sensor that transmits to a receiver at each wheel location--which the EVIC displays. I do not know where this is written and my remarks are based upon personal experience and discussions with my local tire guy.

I have read, here and elsewhere, that a short drive at speed is all that is needed.

I've never had to do anything to mine, rotations, punctures, temperature changes, whatever. I have the entry level one that just tell me I have a low tire.

I've only seen that twice and guess what?
Slow puncture both times.

FWIW - The system on my '11 PAT w/o EVIC did not pick up the presence of a repaired tire in the back of my PAT while I was operating with the spare installed.
