That's with me driving 90% highway. A/c is always on...it seems odd, but when my highway mileage is at its best my city mileage sucks. And vice versa. I'm sure all highway, I could definitely break 300 no problem.

I break 300 all the time in city driving.

Glad you can. No one else seems to be able to

I've read right here on this forum of several guys getting that kind of highway mpg. maybe not with a CVT, though. I drove from Seattle to Santa Rosa, CA and averaged 30 mpg round trip, one stretch hitting 33.

300 all highway is fairly common for us. I was referring to the 300 in city... I do great to get 200-225. And that's pushing the last few gallons till I'm nearly out

I drive about 90% city and I always go 300+ miles on a tank. Then again, I top it off. I usually get 22-23 in the city, which is just about what my EPA sticker said it should.

It would seem so, but I kinda doubt it. Like I said, I top it off (and not looking for a discussion of the benefits vs. dangers of doing it; I just do and always have, and ever have had a problem, ever). I usually put 13 gallons and change in there and usually have 305-310 on the clock. The tank holds more than 13.5 gallons. The one time I let the needle get slightly to the left of E, I put in 14.3.

Ah-ha! It would appear the secret to getting more miles out of the Jeep per tank, would be to put in more gas. :notworthy:

Have 2300 miles on my Patriot with the 2.4 with about a 50/50 mix of city/highway Im adveraging 21mpg. The first few tanks I was around 20 that was Aug with a/c.
Filled up today and calculated 21.6 mpg. Which has been consistent the past several fill ups.

All city i use to get 23 now with the bigger tires i avg 21 city....my highway mileage drop also ...use to get 30 now average 27.

Ok guys, heres the scoope. I am going in to the dealer tom after work and speaking with the service manager, because I have figured out I have an electrical issue, and I think the Computer needs to be replaced. I started carrying the ipad with me, and today something new started. The blinker went crazy, and my drivers side tail light doesnt turn on with the remote keyless, but it turns on for headlights, and blinkers, so the bulb isnt blown, and the low fuel chime was heard, but the light did not come on. I will be bringing the ipad in with me, and I hope it doesnt start tom, I mean it!

Let me say this, since day 1 which was 4 months ago, I have had an alignment issue, bluetooth issue, it doesnt start properly, the keyless remote works when it wants too, some days I have to use the key to get in, remote start works when it wants too, the speed sensitive door locks work when they want too, some days it works at 25mph, and other days I could be driving for 10 mins, and be cruisin at 45mph, and then it locks, I noticed that its starting to chug fuel and now the tail light, and blinker.

In all honesty, I love the jeep, but if they cant figure it out, or fix it, I will be getting a new car, sorry guys, :( Once the video uploads Ill attach them.
