Special ordered a 2013 Patriot Latitude for my wife this week. Used the military car sales since I'm overseas, will pick it up in Alaska when we arrive.

Talked to my son and he recommended the first thing we add are mud flaps due to the road conditions. Looked on line and it's not clear if the mud flaps I found are factory fit front and rear.

Anyone install the molded factory style mud flaps? Where did you buy them?

Thanks!

Mark

easiest place would be the stealership (also the most expensive)
ebay?
I did use 3 local dealerships. They really aren't that expensive. I think $25 a pair.
I returned the ones I got as the factory part number does not fit the 2012. I have not had anyone respond with a correct part number or same experience.
Personally, I would not order off eBay unless u are confident they are correct or have a 100% refund w/shipping policy.
As I said, I order what the dealer called for. They don't fit. Dealer couldn't figure out why so I'm without until they do.

Thanks, I searched here and the internet and couldn't find anything about the fronts for a 2013, much less a 2012.

I checked the dealers inventory listing in Anchorage, all the Patriots in the pictures have front and rear mud guards, so they have to have them in stock. I'll go by there when I arrive and pick up a set.

Before u buy, ask them to let you take them to the parking lot to confirm the fit. My dealers had no prob with it. Until I went in and said these are made wrong.
That's when they came back out and got confused. LoL

To me they look as if the molds were backwards.
Here's the OEM# I had they said was correct-
82203703AB rear
$23.40 in Texas

Found what I was looking for.

Front Molded Slash Guards.

Rear Molded Slash Guards with "JEEP" Logo.

Rear Molded Slash Guards without logo.

Going to order up a set and have them sent to my son's in Alaska.
Good luck with that.
It's exactly the same part number as what I ordered.
Looking at the picture, they appear wrong. As in inverted molds. As in exactly how they arrived and would not mount. Correctly anyway.
Actually, to make a visual point here,
Look closely at the FRONT deluxe set. Notice they have an inset where the fender fits into? That's how it's supposed to look.
The rears with or without the logo... They are molded flat! There is no recess for the fender to sit in.
Seems the key word here is DELUX.
Wonder if the front would also fit on the rear? I'd take them with or w/o the logo if that's all they sell.

If they use road salt, sand, and sometimes gravel, where you will be, like they do around where I live, the flaps will not be enough.

I have chips on the sides of mine, and my flaps actually are wider than the OEM, ones.

If I get another patriot I'll be thinking of bigger flaps, that stick out the side more, for more protection. They might look funny, unless I can maybe do the whole fender flare, but I need the protection. Either that or just use bedliner on the sides.

That's a serious amount of debris ur traveling thru.
Here's a thought. While bed liner is very effective, it's also expensive and permanent. This whole plasti-dip does have merit as well.
You can apply it several coats thick and the result is a rubbery surface that debris bounces off of. Very sharp objects are less likely to damage it and if it does it can be touched up.

That's another thought, thanks.

They also do tar and chip for our roads in the country too, where I live and work. And that stuff is almost as bad, if not worse, than gravel roads.

Here is eBay item#160894380011
The front and rear deluxe set with Jeep logo on rear. They fit like a glove.
I was advised that these are the part number for vehicles that have the lower plastic valence on them.
U know, the plastic piece at the bottom edge of the doors between wheel wells.
Most of us have them. I did.
Anyway...$84.75 free shipping.
My local dealer couldn't match this price. Best they could do was $91.25 w/tax.
They look great on mine!
