Hello all. Just wanted to check in and announce the addition of two (soon to be three) new members of the jeep family (myself and my prego wife). We both traded in our respective coupe's for a 2012 Patriot Altitude and 2012 Compass Altitude. We needed a little extra space for the new arrival in March, and when we found the altitude models online, as well as the affordable price tag, it only took us a week to seal the deal. Mine came in yesterday, and hers should be ready for pickup before the end of the week. I will post a picture as soon as I have one. For now, I've only got mine on a cell phone, but it's better than nothing. Looking forward to working with you folks on any issues we may have along the way!

Congrats on the new rides and more importantly the new family member to be.
You'll need sunglasses to look at the bright white with your soon to be sleep deprived eyes.

Thanks for putting everything into perspective! Were very excited for our first child and appreciate the kind words.

Nice Altitude. Welcome to the family!
Thank you! Whats with the plasti badges? Id like to get black ones and not sure where to look...

Also, either of you know where I should look to find clear corner replacement lenses? The orange is killing me already..

You can use PlastiDip on the badges that seems to be a popular and easy mod amongst us Pat owners.
Love the altitude model, especially the rims I PlastiDip'd mine to get the same look.

Most everybody here just mask off the badges and plastidip them and then peel away it leaves the letters black. Super easy

Awesome! Can't believe I've never heard of this. I'll have to do some research and get on it.

Welcome. Not sure which coupes you and the mrs. had, but I think you will be pleasantly supprised how well theese things do when the snow starts falling.

I love how those black rims compliment the white paint. very nice choice!

Thank you! She was driving an 09 altima coupe and I had a 10 mustang gt....so yea I'm pretty sure we'll be in much better hands this winter season!

Looks great! Are there any other differences for the Altitude edition other than the black wheels and gloss black step pads?
Thank you! Altitude package gets a bright lower fascia, chrome rear step pads and bright, polished-steel roof rails. Also heated seats and mirrors, remote start, black grill insert, and some other safety features such as electronic roll mitigation, hill-start assist (manual trans) and side curtain air bags for all rows. I think that's it.
