Options Packages

Looking at the options packages....

So, Pkg D doesn't have power windows/locks, a domelight, a power jack, etc. (which I would have thought comes standard in every car now-a-days)

Is there a way you can say, "I'd like the standard and just pick the options I like."

I want Power windows/mirrors, A/C, a domelight and reading lamps.. but I don't have ANY need for the other options that come in pkg. e. To save around a grand in what you need and what you don't. Or is this simply not possible?

Am I reading this correctly if you go with pkg D, you won't have a domelight or reading lamps?

The D package is like the bare necessities of the thing. No ac power / windows locks, folding seats, height adjustable driver seat and so on.

Personally I ordered the E package because I'm 6' 4" and have to have an adjustable seat, god knows what the seat would be permanently fixed at. You don't need the pwr. windows, but lets face it, you gotta' have it. The ac is always going to get used at some point in time when you travel cross county.

I test drove a 4x4 patriot limited last week out here in Colorado, and I was very happy about the size, especially for my height. The only problem I had was the CVT, it's just not for me. The Patriot just doesn't have the power for that type of transmission. Thus why I ordered the manual. I really think I'm going to like this Jeep.

Yes, you can order the Patriot with just about anything you want. All they do is set the list of options and colors in front of you and you just start picking away. I'm going to be getting my Patriot about 4 weeks eariler then they said...... BONUS !!

too bad you cant get a loaded Sport model with a sunroof, or a Limited with YES seats.

I am not positive, but my understanding is, you will have a domelight with pkg. d, you just have to have pkg e to get the removeable light. I dont know about the map lights.

I just looked it up, the d packeage comes with a dome lamp and a rear cargo lamp but you dont get the removeable flashlight dome light.

It lists all the standard features on the jeep webpage. There is a standard features link on the left and an options/upgrades link below.

I know, I would have ordered differently, but they make you buy what they want to offer...... Something about business and making a profit, WHAT WERE THEY THINKING !!
