Euro style roof antenna

just for information, i changed the factory radio with an aftermarket today and discoverd that the roof style euro and australian antenna has a built in amplifer inside the black mount, as it normaly gets power from the factory radio i just hooked it up to the positive side of the torch recharging tab, now works all well;) the red grey wire btw

eek, thats almost impossible, you need to drop the roof lining abit and feel in a hole you can feel 2 wires pulling gently theres enuf slack to pull them down and you will see the conectors its the redgrey plug that needs to be disconected(i cut it) and just soldered it to the rear lamp charging terminal its the contact closest to the back of the beast;)
