I had to order an air filter. My CDJ local dealership does not keep them in stock...

I picked it up yesterday, $19.41 out the door.

I bought a pack of four NGK V-Power Spark Plugs (ZFR5F-11) off of Amazon a few months ago for $9.50.

30 bucks in parts to add to my 30K mile oil change in or around September.

Happy motoring!

Yesterday my odometer rolled across 22,222. Fortunately my commute is only 3 miles now, so with any luck I'll put on 1/3 of the miles this year. I might be able to hold off on that 30k tune-up yet

You can. IAW the OM, plugs and filter are at 32K (8K OCIs)

After about 5K miles of use, I took off my winter wheel/tire set. Pulling the winter wheels disclosed minimal rusting. I hit what little rust there was with PB Blaster. The summer wheel/tire set was installed with the lug nuts torqued to 100 lbft. I set the TP to 37 and took her for a test drive.

BAM - It started pushing to the left, just like it did prior to putting on the winter wheel/tire set. Something is not right w/ the stock tires. With the winter tires installed, the PAT tracked like it was on rails.

You know I rotated them about a month ago and it began pulling again, just as hard if not harder than I remember. I rotated them again in a different way so that the tires were in a different place than prior to the initial rotation, and the pull stopped. I am not impressed with these tires... I've never had issues like this rotating tires, on any vehicle. Ever. The Yoko's can't come soon enough!

I could drive to the Jeep dealer, let them test drive my PAT, notice the problem and install new tires.

I really doubt the evolution would be that smooth.

The traction of the Goodyears have been great and the tread life seems really good too... I could probably go 50k on these tires. Only problem is they throw a fit every time I rotate. The price is great too, as replacement Goodyears can be had for under $90. I really would have considered keeping them or buying them in the next size up... but driving straight is MUCH more important to me.

I cannot believe how many people are having problems with these tires pulling, including myself, even after replacing a bum tire already.

Yep, yep, yep...

Spring is here! I washed the PAT today and did not have to worry about the water freezing on the driveway!

This is why I bought the PAT.

As the tires turn...

I dropped my buddy off at the Park and Ride after work Tuesday and headed to the Post Office. "DING" - Low tire pressure alarm. Crap. I get to the PO, park, get out and sure enough, the right front tire is hissing. Crap. 15 minutes later, the full size spare was on and I was underway. Hey... no pulling to the LEFT. Cool. I had the puncture repaired yesterday and put the tire back on when I got home last night. This morning the low tire pressure alarm cleared. When I got on the highway, and got up to speed, BAM, the PAT started pulling left again. I will be glad when these tires are worn out and replaced.

Note: Having the repaired/aired up tire in the back of the PAT did not clear the low pressure alarm.

23,6XX miles, time for a tire rotation. Which way will it pull this time? The OE tires have about 21K miles on them. I ran my winter tires for about 5K miles. I expect to get about 30K miles out of the OE tires.

Next weekend, time for an oil change.

Tagged a young deer this morning while driving down the grade to warm up the oil for an oil change. The anti-lock brake system works. The deer was bumped, hard enough to leave hair between the lower bumper cladding and painted bumper cover. No damage. I do need to check to make sure the left fog lamp works. I forgot to check that.

Oil change @ 23,891 (24K) miles. 5 quarts of M1 AFE 0W-30 and a NAPA Gold oil filter. Next oil change is at 30K miles. I will also change the spark plugs and air filter at 30K.

Yep, the deer walked away. I am glad I was not driving the Vette...
