They are similar but on two different plateforms. Ones a TJ the other is a jk
And one is MOPAR enabling you to order it from your local dealer without affecting the factory warranty. The other involves you doing the conversion yourself or finding a third party to do it (or I think AEV will do it if you take it to them). With the Brute your bumper to bumper warranty is pretty much out the window though. Just the conversion kit shouldn't affect the drivetrain warranty but, you might get into some fights depending on what random thing breaks and how friendly your dealership is. With a JK-8 kit, you should have zero warranty issues.

I think we get it man, this isn't a wrangler forum. I mistook it for the brute, in no way was I trying to start a huge debate there's no need to. You've informed everyone here what it was.

Geez...sorry I ever brought it all up...

But, that Jeep minivan was cool, huh?:)

Just think about it...Trail Rated fun with he kids in the car seats and a movie playing on the fold down DVD system, while steering from captain's chairs?

nah.... JK-8s are awesome and a test bed Jeep is using to determine if there is truly a market for a Jeep truck. I personally think that there is, however the JK-8 isn't it. The JK-8 is a true two seater and how the roll bar integrates behind the rear seat there isn't even room for a small bag behind the seats. It's in a very niche market.

As for the "debate", there is no debate. It is a JK-8 which is a completely different animal than the Brute. I like information to be accurate, when I see mistakes I correct them. Unfortunately my posts are often curt. I don't normally mean to be offensive, it is just my way.

Actually, I had already posted that earlier, but you probably missed it during the JK8 vs Brute pissing contest....:D

Lol.... I posted the exact same link you did. Oh well, maybe the embedded photo will at least add something.

In answer to your question, I like the van truck! Its a bit different, but very functional
