Ok...just picked up my Pat from the dealership for service and getting the Deluxe Splash Guards installed front and back (free installation as they ordered the Compass ones the first time)...

I spotted this as I was leaving the dealership...Did an online search on Jeep.com and find nothing...

Went to the dealership website and found it in inventory...

They say it's a Wrangler Unlimited...but I don't see that version as a Build Your Own...It's like a mini H3T or sort of like the old Scramblers...

I like it though...

4DR unlimited with aftermarket roof and bed liner?
hard to say,
while description says 4 dr unlimited
dont see the standard lines for the back door,
maybe its just hard to see in pics,
maybe the aftermarket roof and such covers it?

ok...bit the bullet and did the inquiry to let a salesperson contact me about it. While I like it, I have 2 little kids, so completely impractical...plus Pat is almost paid for and then it's a lifetime of no payments with my lifetime warranty....

Just want to know what it is...Glad none of you know it so far, doesn't make me feel stupid then...

That's awesome!! I was thinking about the Comanchee on my way to work this morning. I was wondering why Jeep doesn't have a truck to compete.

That looks pretty awesome, but I wouldn't be able to use it as a DD.

Btw, your probably right down the road from me. I'm in Lake Wylie.

It's called the Jeep Wrangler Brute, it was a concept but they do also make a kit I believe it goes for around 5 grand that you can transform your wrangler into this pick up look. I saw one also for sale at the dealership I bought my Pat from. They are pretty bad ass looking, if you really don't need a backseat then this may be for you. Even when I plan to buy a wrangler in the future I think I'm going to have to stick with the 4dr unlimited.

You are wrong in a very big way.

The vehicle in question is a JK8 conversion kit on a JK Unlimited (the four door JK). The JK8 kit is built by MOPAR and can be installed by your local Jeep dealer. The kit costs about $6,000 (without labor and paint).

The Brute is a conversion kit for the TJ built by AEV and it includes extending the frame. The Brute kit costs about $9,000.

AEV now has a kit called the Brute Double Cab which makes your JK into a four door truck.

I realize that that's a conversion. Google jeep wrangler brute, it's the first picture that appears. It was a concept, that's why you don't see it available in the jeep lineup right now because it does not come from factory like that yet if ever. But you are able to get the conversion kit to make it look like that. So I'm not entirely wrong as you have said. You are right about the brute being a TJ and this is the JK8 conversion.

You need to relax, I understand that it's not the brute. But It is the conversion kit, i know it's the jk8 Im not arguing with you dude. Chill

I get that now, thanks. I'm sorry for mistaking the two conversion kits. You win sorry I'm not pro when it comes to telling the difference. They are similar but on two different plateforms. Ones a TJ the other is a jk
