Welcome to the site and CONGRATS!

Your PAT looks great! Have you heard of the two bucket wash system and grit guards? They will help keep that sweet looking paint, looking sweet!

Grits?

Like grits and shrimp?

CGreen: Mr Murman likes to wash his Patriot, not that there is anything wrong with that but what you really need (NEED) to do is start to make it yours.

You do that by removing stock items and substituting them with stuff you buy on eBay and from various websites.

Speakers? no good, change them
Antenna? No good, get a black stubby.
Tires? definitely no good, get new ones.
Wheels? No good, get new ones.

You see where I'm going?

Do search this forum for "hub rust" and follow the solutions posted, that will be the single most valuable info you get from this site.

All the rest of the historical threads seem to concern themselves with stuff you can buy for the Patriot. Stuff you didn't think you needed until you read the threads...then watch out.

I too was once an innocent like you.
But now I have a modded Patriot that I wash using a (sob) system.

Get out while you can...

Enjoy your Jeep. Trail Rated FTW. Keep us (me) updated on your gas milage. I am curious how yours will compare, lets say, to mine. Looking good.

I am curious too, about both of yours. If you start using fully, it makes it easy for everyone to see! At the pump you can log it on your phone, and I bookmarked the site to make it even easier http://m.fully.com
