Weclome to the forum! Let's see your ride :) thinking of any mods?

Sounds like a plan to me - IMO it's the small stuff that sets your ride apart. I haven't done anything too significant: blacked out tails, mesh grill, tinted windows, blacked out muffler. All simple things, but I think they really set my Pat apart from the others I see on the road.

To the point that when I see another black limited Pat I always tell my wife " Our Jeep's so much better than theirs!" haha :) Especially if they don't even have a blacked out muffler...I mean, c'mon now...one of the easiest mods to do and makes our Pats look instantly better (5 minutes, $5...done and done)

Welcome!

Agree with 'Killa..'..small stuff actually makes the most tasteful customization to me.

I really want to paint my muffler, but am concerned that salt and sand on the roads from our moderate winters here in Ontario will make it a regular job.

Anyone have experience doing this in the climate with success, let me know.

They use salt, sand, and small gravel on the roads I drive on, and the VHT Hi-Temp paint has held up well. One can of paint should do several applications anyway, even with a couple coats each time. I painted the muffler and the exhaust tip.

cpole - I understand your concern...I'm in new england, and I usually have to touch up my muffler 1 or 2x during the winter months. I bought a can of the high-heat BBQ paint and even after a few touch ups with multiple coats I've still got about 1/2 the can left. And once the initial coats are on, it only takes 1-2 minutes to bend down and tag any spots that need touch up, so nothing too significant :)
