Not sure if they are called a side skirt but thats the only name I could think of, but what I am talking about is the black plastic piece that runs along the bottom of the Pat. Has anyone removed this before, if so how did it look?

I have had them off to do some modifications before and trust me you want to leave them on. Not only is it ugly with them off the serve as an anchor for the inner fenders as well as inside your doors they cover the kick panels.

That's part of the reason I ended up using Plasti-Dip on my 2009. It also covered up superficial scratches in the front and rear bumpers.
