They didn't make a 2011 Patriot Limited. The options are Sport, Latitude and Latitude X.

I think he might be in Canada... they still got the Limited badge for 2011. It's just us bastard step children with Limited's in the US that got the name "Latitude X." I'll be changing that badge soon

So they only sold 2 models in Canada? The Sport and Limited? Interesting. I wasn't aware of that.

I see you have a hitch, did you install it or the dealer? How was the plastic cut under the car? I want to add a hitch to mine, but I'm not sure how it will look.
I installed it myself, and it was my first accessory installation of any kind to do on any vehicle. I removed the rear bumper and cut it in my living room using a dremel, and it was fine... not too difficult. If I could do it over, I would use a small hand saw to cut, then smooth it out after. The dremel cut through all the way, but it melted the plastic more than it was actually cutting, so it didn't come out as even as I would like. If you click on my signature with the hitch link you can see a couple pictures that I took of the finished install. Even though I know about unevenness, I still think it looks pretty good. I'm happy :smiley_thumbs_up:

My wife and I drove My 2010 Patriot sport from Detroit Michigan to Orlando Florida and back a week later. It was in December 2010 and the weather was cold so there were no problems with the CVT, or anything else either. I will say that the cloth seats are not comfortable on long trips, after about 3 to 4 hous of driving your lower back will feel it a little because of the lack of lower back support. We did use a small pillow for lumbar support and it helped. It was just me and my wife with 2 regular suitcases, 2 duffle bags , a cooler to keep food in while traveling, 2 winter coats on the back seat ( they had snow down south and it was below freezing in Florida) and some misc. stuff to entertain ourselves during the drive. I know that we could not have taken 2 other people with us and there luggage. It would have been very crammed with only the 2 extra people not including their luggage and probably blocked the back window with everything we had packed in the vehicle ourselves. We brought back alot more stuff then we took, so the back seat was pretty full on the way back. Its perfect for 2 people and maybe 2 kids for a long trip but I would never do it with 4 adults.

Thanks osimj just wondering how far you drove before stopping etc etc and how was your fuel consumption. I'm averaging around 520km per tank give or take a few k's here and there. That would be approx 300+ miles per tank this is at an average speed of 80 to 90 kph ( 50 to 55 mph).mainly hwy .

I used to live in Myrtle Beach, SC. I'm not sure how long your planning on staying for but you should definitely check out a restaurant called "The Sea Captain's House" Its on Ocean Blvd. It's right past 29th ave North. Also check out Broadway at the Beach for fun things to do.
