Well, even after all of the trouble I had with my iPod touch and the uConnect module, I bit the bullet and upgraded to iOS 5. The upgrade process itself was rather painful, and took me almost 2 days, but I made it through, and although I had to restore my iPod rather than upgrade it, I was happy to see it boot with the new OS on it.

When I took it out to the Jeep, I had reservations about it working, but it fired right up. The annoying 'pop' I would hear with iOS 4.2.1 is gone, and hopefully I can scroll through the albums a tad bit faster :)

A new problem has arose. After 3 or 4 starts of the Jeep, the iPod is no longer detected, and I have to unplug and plug it back in. It also skips the first few seconds of every song, which is a tad bit annoying. I think I'm going to give the iPod classic a try, A friend of mine has one i can try to make sure it works.
