Fixed my 2011 tonight, still not totally satisfied but it's about even all the way around. The link two spots above my post tells you how to do it.

The hood does not make a good seal around the engine bay, regardless.

Still happy with the 'riot though. :)

Took mine in yesterday, all they did was screw out the front adjuster/stopeers a ridiculous amount, so now there's a bit more than a half-inch gap between the hood and the front grill right under the JEEP logo, and from the sides, the gap is very noticeably larger at the fron than the rear of the hood...and you can make the rear corners of the hood touch the fenders by pushing donw lightly with your hand. Not saitisfied at all.....

Lower those front supports and make small adjustments on the front screws that the hinges rest on. It doesn't take much to make a big difference.

I can assure you, if you take some time and tweak all four corners, you'll get it even and right.

I think the gap is supposed to measure around 9.5 mm on the front near the logo, and 6.5mm give or take on the sides. Mine is nearly perfect all the way around now.

Since it's still under warranty, I called the srevice guy at the dealer to bitch. Next week, they're sending it to their favorite body shop to see what they can do. That will be the third attempt.

I've never had this problem until I installed my bug deflector. At that point I was thinking to take it to the dealer to adjust but then I decided to do it myself since I've read how thanks to the forum. I don't think service guys will do any better job than you. You probably already figured that since it'll be your third time taking it in. It took me a while to adjust it but I did it and I think better than service guys would. I followed jepstr67's trick with the wax to adjust my front stoppers.

I did mine myself just because the dealer will inevitably half-ass anything.

It can be done easily in the driveway, but some folks would rather not attempt it I guess.

It's nice to know this is adjustable. When I saw the hood moving at highway speed, passing a semi in a storm... I thought the thing was going to fly off The couple of times I went through an automatic wash, I though the blowers were going to tear it off

I just figured it was due to design.... I'll take a gander at adjusting it some weekend

I never noticed it in my 08 or new 11 and I passed some large semis today on the interstate.

Try a closing situation on a two lane road with a semi truck at 55-65 mph...
