after i went off roading for the first time (and only time so far) with the pat i noticed one screw on each side of the front fenders was loose. i tightened both of them, i check them every time i get in the pat now and every other day or so one or both are loose and hanging out again. anybody have this happen?

i just got a postcard saying a part to fix the broken footrest on the drivers side had come in, so ill probably mention this also when i take it in.

just wanted to check on here and see if anybody else has had this happen. its only 1 screw on the front each side

Clean them up and try a drop of green Loktite.

looks to me like you have given the front a nudge when offroad and its popped the screws out - esp if its both sides. from memory I think they screw into plastic inserts?
Not sure if locktite would do much.

Looks like from the photo those are to the rear of the tire? Looks like where I put the mudflaps on mine. I used the existing screws for my flaps, and they've never come loose, even with the flaps hitting the ground and rocks, etc. I'm off road almost every weekend, and have none of those come loose.

i can push on the screw and tighten it with my fingers and it will tighten, i havent tightened them completely...lol i should probably try that before whining to the dealer.

i just loved how it was after my first off road trip

This happened to me on the passenger front a few months after having the pat and doing no off-roading. I just tightened it with some needle nose pliers and its still there so...

Sorry fellow, this is one of the down-sides of buying a cheap vehicle. A screw which is screwed into a small pilot hole in the plastic is what this is, and seems that for you the threads on the plastic have striped. A possible solution could be to buy a screw with thicker/bigger threads. If I recall when I took my mudguards off those screws don't screw into anything critical. As I remember they are just there to hold on the mudguard, if they fall out or if you leave them out it will be fine they are not critical. You could also use some locktite as stated by others.

the size screw

Probably opening a dead thread but that happens to me all the time just driving around town... I already lost a screw too... Weird... I even added loctite and screwed them all back in but they still come loose...
