07-10 Grill inserts on 2011

Ok, so this answers my question in the other thread, although step by step would still be better.

Looks like you found inserts that were bigger, made a template of the opening, then cut to size. Did you have to do any filing, or grinding?

How are they attached?

yes they are bigger they would fit a 07-10 perfectly fine I did make a template then cut them on my band saw no file or grinding involved. they attach with 4 screws and little black brackets on the inside of the grill

Thanks. I like the look, and when I trade my 08 for an 11 I think I'll do that. I added chrome to the grill of my 08, but couldn't see how to do that with the 11's with the honey comb grill.

Do you have a picture of them installed? I have an 11 and have been stressing to find something. Any help / suggestions you could provide would be great!!!

One more question - would you make me a set for $100?? Lol. But seriously, would ya? I don't have a band saw or even know how to use one.

Im curious as to how they stay on. Are they tight? Do they rattle?
