Removing a remote start?

I leased a 2008 Jeep Patriot and am getting ready to turn it in. I have already purchased a 2011 Jeep Commander and would like to remove the remote starter from the Patriot to hook it up in the Commander.

Does anyone know how to remove the remote starter without causing any damage?

they're all slightly different, but basically the opposite way that you installed it.

2011 Jeep Commander? Are you sure as there is no Commander for 2011. Or are you overseas.
