Hey Denver area Patriot Owners,

I'm thinking of organizing a group of Patriot owners here in CO. Anyone interested in such a thing? This would be a family friendly, RESPONSIBLE group of off and on roaders.

Post here if you are interested or have suggestions!

Glad to hear! Depends on what you're buying it for (commuting, off-road, etc.). Let me know and I can share some experience.

Looking at purchasing a patriot to replace the ole GrandCaravan minivan. The wife is tired of looking like a soccer mom. It needs some TLC and has high miles.

Patriot would be used 90% city driving, 10% other. Having the optional off road FDII would be fun. I have the big K3500 4x4 for the rough stuff!

I still need to drive the patriot - we test drove the compass and I didn't think much of the engine power. How does the 2.4 do going up in the hills? (Genese, Vail, Loveland pass)

Thanks, Kelly.

Just sent you a PM.

Patriot Group in Denver

I would be interested in such a group, but strongly recommend you limit the off road part until there is a lift kit available for the FDII.

Limit the off-road part?! Check out my pics, the Trail Rated Patriot will go places...

At this time I am working on an adventure group for light off roading, and focusing on more than just wheeling, i.e. rafting, biking, hiking, etc. Will post more on this as it develops.

As for taking the Patriots off-road, I'll begin posting more often when I go out, and I invite others to do the same. We were out at least every other weekend this summer.
