European new Patriot: MY2010 or MY2011?

Hallo everyone

like usual a lot of confusions and differences between web information, Chrysler informations and dealers informations.

The new Patriot available in Europe has a new engine 2.2 Mercedes but no new interiors (new wheel, very beauty http://www.automania.it/images/jeeppatriot2011_interni.jpg) like eropean magazines and websites and dealers showed and told me. Now dealers has the new Patriot different from what promised by Chrysler agents told them in the last months. They don't now why, they don't know when and if the new model will arrive in Europe.

My question is to understand from you some more detailed informations from different contries (I'm from Italy) or to know from you some news if someone of you knows something more.

It is also not understandable why it is impossible to get it in different outside colors other than Grey or Black and interior color othe than black.

Here the situation is similar: a lot of confusion around...
official website has only black or gray but downloadable brochure has all the colors available. Dealer told me it is impossible to get in green or other... only black or grey but Chrysler official call center told me it is available in all colors, inside and outside.

I'm waiting the "final" Patriot from 2007 (first because of problems and promised new interiors, then for the impossible to have it in green/beige, then for Euro 5 and now for the promised new wheel and promised new colors not arrive)
I'm really getting bored about all this confusion, superficiality and unattentions for costumer cares Chrysler is showing.
I love Patriot but I'm really moving my attention to the new Freelander 2 which is beauty, with awesome "terrain response" in many colors inside and outside and which is not so far in price from Patriot.

Hi,
In Bologna Motor Show this month, Jeep announced the arrival of Pat my 2011 on february after the recent upgrade on my '10 with 2.2 mercedes.
The recent european stock with 2.2 engine is still a '10 model. on other posts I red about the lineup of new '011 euro patriot with new unknown bumper. G.

thanks for reply. Dealers in Italy confirmed in February Patriot MY 2011 will be available.
They told me bumper like USA and Interiors too but still don't know where foglamps will be (inner like USA or External like actual model)
What is ridicoulus is they they confirmed me yet external colours won't be other than Gray and Black and only black inside.
28500 €uros of car and I can't even choose a color like green or other.
Also Peibble Beige interior which is "a must with" Black outside won't be available: Pay and Shut up style.

I have different informations from around our forum: the 2011 euro bumper will be different : some workers in Belvidere are installing it.
Delears in italy: they don't know anything. In this moment the're working with the 2010 stock coming with the new 2.2 engine; that's why there's no choice on color, equipements ecc. On february will arrive the 2011 my it will be possible to select your personal model.

first screen of Jeep Patriot MY 2011 Europe:

in the main window the first car will be presented you is New GC, then after few seconds will appear Chrokee ant for third the New PatriotMY 2011.

If in these few seconds that the foto is on the screen you can cature the video image with Print screnn which can be pasted on a picture modding program and saved.

I've done it but I'm not able to shere here loading from my PC.

Bumper is different but still hard to see.
Alloy wheel like americans (bleah

First images from fiat's motor village in Turin: one week to unveiling of european my 2011. I'm about to place my order but.... Very short list of colours, no sky window or double colored interiors. The new euro bumper not so bad!

I'm going to see and try the MY 2011 this afternoon.
They don't have brochures, they won't have an open day or official presentation, there is not a running website with more than one picture, colors of the cars could not be seen,

seems a Waterloo

Jeep don't belive in Patriot, don't support it and will close production in 2012 (unofficial information)

Why like I this car?

It is pretty nice looking, and the fog lights are still pushed to the outside...

That image shows the fog lights well.

Apparently legislation in the UK means the fog lights need to be within 400mm of the side of the car. On my Lotus they are more centred but don't work without the headlights.

I heard in Italy that MY 2010 with new 2.2 engine (transition model) have serious problems with clutch and gear

Ah ah, I've lost my only chance to ask Sergio on these problems...
On saturday 19 february I went again to Mirafiori Motorvillage to take part at the "Jeep parabolic Drive", to test a Patriot and I met..Sergio!! look at it! He was spending his vacation day to check the standards of the dealer. (greatest dealer in Turin, part of FGA)
Leaving aside this, on friday 4 march, when I finally decided to order my Patriot they told me "..in this moment we can't order any Patriot, we have to work on what is on the dealers network 'till different news from FGA"
On dealers network the "Limited" is disappearing..and "premium packs are very rare.

Has this state of things something to do with the clutch problem??

FIAT/Jeep really need to get their Act together !!! Chrysler/Jeep salesman have nothing to sell in UK Showrooms at the moment.....Just some 2010 leftovers & a Chrsler MPV ( mini Van )

If The Patriot loses momentum over here , they'll have to re-launch the whole bloody shooting match all over again!!
Sorry I have little or No faith In FIAT as far as I am concerned they coulndnt run a Brothel in a Sperm Bank......

As far as 2.2 engines & gearbox/clutch problems ..........???? Back to shooting themseves in the foot !!

I can see this Ital/American partnership going down the Pan pretty rapidly ...the same as all the other Chrysler partnerships........

As I'm from Turin I can't subscribe that... The same people that is working on FGA startegy is working on developing of Ferrari models, tecnology ecc...and they're winning on every market.
You have to consider that volumes of production of Pat were set to fit the american market not the European one..The merging took place just 1,5 year ago.. in The business strategy short term is to cut costs, stop loosing money, facelifting, rabadging (Lancia - that is like Vauxhall in the italian market)..New Patriot 2013 will be produced in Europe (mirafiori) and Belvidere (America)
500 Is about to start production in Toluca while the quality of marchionne-era models is drammatically improoved: you really do have to try a Giulietta...
The effects of this merging will appear completely on next generation of cars...starting from 2012/2013.
But of course now... I need a Paaatrioooot!

I love the Giulietta styling & even the the little Mito & I am so glad they wear Alfa badges & not FIAT!! However I do think that the FIAT group would have been better off sticking to what they do best in Europe....I dont think they will ever understand the American market.

It seems the 2011 model has gone up quite a bit in price from last year and features have been reduced. E.g. the new Limited model now has the same size wheels but last year they were a size bigger.

to be honest,i'm thinking how the hell the americans will get out of those big cars they are used to driving and get into a cinquecento (500).
that's a laugh.
at least for me it is.
but,on the other hand,if they succeed,good for them.
