completed today , including wheels align....
guys , earthworm was right , as well as gogaudi and all the friends who gave good feedbacks on the stuart murchison springs !!

some measures and nbrs ....

Before :
Distance in cm : center of the wheel to guard

Front left\right : 43,5 cm
Rear left\right : 44,5 cm

After :
Distance in cm : center of the wheel to guard

Front left\right : 49 cm
Rear left\right : 50,5 cm

Overall comments :

1- it seems they fixed the holes in the streets of my area !! …. Amazing ….
2- Car is more stable and stuck to the ground .. it seems strange as now is higher but that’s the feeling
3- No changes in driving , is smooth as it was before but there is a feeling of driving a more solid car ...
4- Driving higher 5 cm is quite good and perceivable ….!!

So, maybe the coils are more expensive than others but results maintain the promises completely !!

thnks to you all ... and thanks to Stuart :)

Stu, that's for you, hope your country will get out soon from that mess , we heard here from the news what the storm did to brisbane ...

good luck from Anzio !!!

Congrats Andrea! That is a nice 2.4" lift! It really drives good!

A couple of pictures would be nice! ;)

It sounds like you have some good before and after measurements, which are appreciated. It gives a good idea of the amount of the lift. But, I am curious. What is the "guard"?

Congratulations and welcome among "The Lifted".

Glad you like it,it is a more enjoyable Patriot.
My advice, don't go to further and get wheels with a diameter bigger than your stocks.I know you're not allowed in Italy to do it anyway, but stick to something nice.
Pictures would be nice ,too.
Are you the first lifted in Italy?
I found out that I am the first lifted in Romania - well,as far as dealers are concerned (don't know about Greece,I live there aswell).
Again congrats and enjoy!

I'm not aware if am the first in italy lifted the pat , for sure am the first in my area ...the 3 or 4 are here didn't do this yet .

is another car my friends !!

for the bigger tires , will not exagerate for sure !!
keep you posted

How much did it cost to ship the springs to Europe?

Discussion starter · #9 ·
material + shipping + custom clearance costed 558 euros .
Delivered to my house . 501 euros material + shipping , 57 euros for the custom clearance .

other 100 euros spent for installation and wheels align.
I don't have any chance to do this job by myself .

I tried to search for something similar to these coils here in italy and cost only for material was around 500\600 euros

ciao

Sorry to hijack your thread Andrea but for those in the States that ordered Stu's coils, did you have to pay anything more than what you paid to Stu for the coils and shipping? i.e. Customs charges?

57 euros was the cost of custom clearance , that's it ; so , 501 euros for cost and shipping and 57 euros for custom = 558 euros total.
ciao

True.
I paid 660 AUSD,but funny enough, got the package straight to my door,no customs although I am in the EU.
Around 100 EUR for install and alignment.
Still worth it.I checked out springs on other sites (only found for lowering, like Eibach) and prices are way higher (true that when lowering you have to change struts as well).

got some new pics posted

This might be a dumb question but were did you guys find STU's Coils online. I looked on his website but it only says that they will be coming soon. Where do you order them?
Use the contact link on his site or request a quote - it is probably the best way to contact him
