Hey I wanted to take off the Jeep logo off the front of my car since I blacked it out. does anyone know if its just a sticker or is it one that's actually drilled in. I just don't want to take it off and have two holes on my hood.
Thanks :)
Kelly

I believe its on with double sided tape. When I wash and scrub hard over it the emblem moves a little. Also it does not sit flat on the hood there is a gap between the bottom of the emblem and the hood, its got to be the double sided tape.

It's just held on wth double-sided tape. I removed mine using my dental floss and brute force, and scraped off the residual adhesive with my fingernails.

Considering it's JUST double-stick tape, they hold very tight! Take your time, use some goo-gone, and you should be fine.

Badge or no badge, it still looks like a Jeep. There's no confusing it with any other brand. That said, I pulled my badge because I'm a de-brander. A product should speak for itself; be it in terms of style, performance, whatever. If it's good enough, people will ask you about it, and you then "choose" to advertise, instead of being forced to.

That said, i've had a handful of random strangers ask me how i liked my Jeep. It speaks for itself, and obviously doesn't reqire a shiny nametag - people know it when they see it. Iconic design speaks volumes.

I just wish i could eliminate the stamped "P A T R I O T" in the rear bumper.

If you want, Kellylynn...I have an extra set of Jeep badges at home. I can paint them with Krylon black enamel (the same color with which I painted my taillight shrouds) and ship them to you. PM me if interested.
