I recommend you go to carcostcanada.com . This site gives you the invoice prices for any new vehicles you may be looking at. It costs $35, but you can build 7 different vehicles. I chose different vehicles, and equipped each with every single option that may come on the vehicle, then, when I'm shopping around, i can whip out the list and see what the invoice price is for each option. I had a dealer from Toronto email me afterwards offering to sell me a Patriot at invoice plus a service fee of $225. It's easier to negotiate up from invoice price rather than down from sticker. I think it gives you a little more control.

Ditto on the vote for CarCost Canada. I worked the same deal...cost +about $200. It was great to know how much wriggle room you have on price. Remember....in Canada on the Patriot, the holdback is $400....so even if the dealer sells to you at cost, they are still getting a $400 kickback from the factory after the sale.

I didn't know about carcostcanada. I bought an 07 Limited in July that was reasonably loaded. It stickered at $32,650 and I got it for $29,300. The haggle points were the NAV system and the satellite radio. I wanted neither. It worked out to about me getting those items for free.
