Aus 2009 Patriot - MyGIG installation??

Just bought a mint, black 2009 patriot in Australia. It has the basic, stock 1cd/radio unit (without uconnect or voice).

Basically I want to replace the stock unit with a MyGIG unit MYSELF without taking it to a dealer.

3. Is this easy enough to do myself? I've seen a couple of DIY posts on here, and it looks pretty easy - is that right? are there any gotchas I need to be wary of?

4. Will I get Aus maps for this mygig unit given it is coming from the states?

5. it doesn't look like this unit has ipod connectivity - is that right?

6. is there anything else I need to be aware in installing this unit myself?!?!?

7. what is this lockpick thing I do I need it?
