OMG...Took me hours to realize that the "Power fold-away mirrors" line item on the window sticker really means "Manually-folding mirrors with power adjustments."

I was looking all over the interior for a switch which automatically folds the mirrors inwards (aka those high-end cars :icon_rolleyes:). Even read the manual over and over again and all it described was the three possible folding positions. Didn't dawn on me that the "power" referred to the motors to adjust the actual mirrors themselves. :BLAM:

So for those noobies, I'll save you some frustration. I'm so embarrassed and was **this** close to asking the forum "where the heck is that switch to fold the mirrors inwards?"

Carry-on all.

Thank You for doing this for me...it saves me the embarresment of asking this great community how I fold in my "power" mirrors :)

I was wondering this myself, but I pushed in my mirrors and figured that the "power folding" part was an option that I didn't have.

My Cherokee had power fold-away mirrors too. :) I just knew better this time around. ;)

Haha, I didn't know they folded away. I bumped into it on accident and the thing folded on me! I freaked out and thought I broke it...haha

I think only the Export models get real Power FOLDING mirrors---& heated---We're lucky!!

I got the real power fold mirrors as well and it took me a long time to work out how they worked. (i got my manual late). It would also be nice if they unfolded when you start the engine because it gives you a start when you try to check them and they're not where you expect.

Most folks that use the folding mirrors need to for access to their garages.
