2010 on Order...

I just need to vent a little bit. I ordered a '10 Pat on April 21st! Dealer said, no worries it's going to be there between 4 to 8 weeks.

Well, we are August 09th today, and guess what? Still no Pat in the driveway!

Good job Chrysler! For a company that went belly up last year, you could at least try to deliver in less than a quarter!

Just as a comparison, my friend bought a '10 Acadia, had to order it because it was an "employee deal". It took 4 weeks from order to delivery, and that was over xmas!!!

I bought mine around the same time, but back in '08. It wasn't delivered until 29 Sept 08. Yep. I was told about the same timeframe too. :doh:
I don't think you'll have it THAT bad though.

4 to 8 weeks is a good bit of sunshine up your skirt. I don't think I've ever had a vehicle arrive any sooner than 10 weeks, sometimes 12 weeks. It can be a long wait......:doh:

I ordered mine May 17th, the dealer says it will be shipped the 13th Aug.
then at least 2 weeks transit. I was told about 8 weeks. I figured it would
be longer because of the factory vacations and whatever.

I wait patiently, its my wife who keeps bugging me, asking if I really ordered
it or not.

I already have a 2008 but she uses it. I decided to get my own but with
the options I wanted.

You need to speak to the person in the back office that actually inputs the order and tracks it, not some funky salesman. They can pull a daily report that shows the build code, and projected delivery date. It's called a POC (Priced Order Confirmation).
Ordered mine on 24 March and drove it home on 20 May 2010.

Lucky you didnt order a Morgan Aero 8. !! I think delivery on these is 2 years. But they are hand built just for you!!

I'd order a Morgan, but I don't think I'd live long enough to get delivery! I have been seeing lots more Patriots around my area, so perhaps folks are waking up. I'm sorry your order is taking so long, but the window sticker is really cool where it says that the car you bought was made expressly for you. I got that with my '08, I hope they still do that, it's a nice touch.
