Roof rack cross bars?

I am looking for some roof rack cross bars, but I don't have a lot of money to spend, If my jeep doesn't fall apart I'm going up to Canada with two people and a dog and I am going need some space, it's a 7 hour drive, so i was going to barrow a roof cargo carrier for some extra space but i need to get some cross bars. I was looking at these:

I was just wondering if these are crap or it is a good buy? Thanks!

They look ok to me.
Why would your Jeep fall apart have you been doimg so extreme off roading?

The cross bars we have came with our Patriot as a package. I have an old clam shell luggage carrier that fits fine on a Cherokee but I can't figure out how to attach it to the top of the Patriot without rain gutters for the hold down straps ??

thanks for the replys, i said my jeep might fall apart because i'm pretty upset that after 38,000 miles with no offroad miles the dealer said that my lower control arm are loose and need to be replaced and that it would be 800+ dollars to fix! I can't affored that! Thanks for your take on the cross bars! i'll keep an eye on those and maybe pull the triger and buy those in a bit!
