GREETINGS!!!

My name is Mike and I am a Jeep Guy, plain and simple. I have owned 4 Jeeps now in my life time. First was a 2005 YJ that was lifted 6" w/ 35 inch tires (sold), next I purchased a 1982 CJ-5 that is my offroad vechile lifted 7" w/ 35 mudders (currently have), then purchased a 2001 TJ that was lifted 2.5" w/ 32inch alterrains (was my DD but just sold it because I'm starting a family and need more of a SUV style with better MPG). Now my most recent purchase and what I am picking up tonight is a 2007 Patriot sport 4x4 w/ 31k miles. Not planing any major mods just a couple here and there. I look forward to exploring my options and seeing all your rides!! Thanks!!

Mike

Congrats fellow Patriot!

I'm on my 4th jeep as well - the others were grand cherokees. Nowadays I cant see spending the extra $10k+ and less mpg on them compared to the Patriot. I love the Patriot's somewhat vintage look too.

Congrats!!

Nice, thanks for the pics.

I'd be very mad of they stuck a front plate like that on mine, putting holes in the bumper. I'd have probably walked out on the deal. But that's just me.

Yep its law in Illinois that you need a front plate. My wife has a Altima we bought in Indiana and they don't require the front plate there so there were no holes. I couldn't bring myself to drill them for her front plate once we got it home so, a couple zip ties later.... GOOD TO GO!!

Always great food in Chicago, I usually get there once in a while for business. My brother went to DeVry there for school, hmm, back in the 70's.

I think there's a couple folks from your area here.
