I have a 2009 Jeep Patriot Limited with a factory Boston premium audio system with navigation and an on board Amp. Recently, my factory radio shorted out and I've been trying to install an aftermarket radio. I have a recommended harness for it, but it doesn't include anything for the Amp plug of the jeep. I was wondering if any one might know how I can wire up the factory Amp or if someone may have the color code diagram for the jeep. I haven't been able to find one. Thanks in advance!!

Edit: The harness I have wired up will turn the radio on, but there no sound through the speakers and the radio doesn't shut off when inturn the key off and open the door

Welcome to the group. To get the factory amp to work with an aftermarket radio, you'll need this:

Well bummer. So much for Crutchfield.

I'd recommend using Crutchfield to get all the equipment you need. Unfortunately replacing the radio costs a lot more nowadays due to all the computer stuff. I used the iDatalink Maestro RR, along with the wiring harness and backup camera adapter and it works great. To use this though you need a compatible head unit with iDatalink. They also include a full guide on how to wire it, along with great live phone support to help
