Hello! I purchased a 2016 Jeep Patriot Sport SE a few months ago. It's my first Jeep experience and I'm enjoying it so far overall. There are a few issues with it and I found this site while researching my current problem, so I'm hoping I can get some feedback.
Whenever I accelerate there is a shimmy/shake at about 15/20 mph, more noticeably if I'm doing a rapid acceleration. It is a slight vibration that at first I wasn't sure if it was the road or my Jeep. I did just have the driver side CV replaced, so I'm not sure if they're tied to each other or just an odd coincidence. I took it back to the shop that did my CV repair, and after double checking their work and taking it for a drive they said it was from the transmission 'lugging'. Has anyone else come across this?
