Ive got a 07 Limited 4x4, 5 spd 2.4L
I was driving the other day at highway speed, check engine started flashing, cruise cut out, traction light turned on and couldnt go over 3g rpm anymore, and chugs when speeding up. Its almost like its in limp mode, until I shut it off. The problem is gone till I drive for a bit then it comes back again; cuts out power, flashing check engine, traction light turns on.
I checked the codes; #1 misfire (x2), random misfires, no crank sensor learned, crank position sensor, crack sensor intermittent (x2).
So far Ive changed out the battery and spark plugs. What should I check next? Is it possible the rough running/chugging is setting off the crank sensor?
