Newbie w/ Decisions

I'm looking to get a Patriot shortly, but having a hard time finding what I want. I'm looking for a Jeep Sport 2x4, green w/ slate interior along with most of the option packages, 26E Quick order package, Popular Equip grp, Tire/wheel grp, Premium steering grp, Yes cloth seats. Looking in a 300 mile radius from Houston, none are available.

Should I order one? If I do, can you get a good deal? Seems they are willing to take off nearly 10% MSRP for Patriots on the lot.

Being what I want is a Limited without the leather seats has anybody got Jeep to replace leather seats for the Yes cloth seats?

I'm looking at an 07. discounted only about 1000. I found excatly what I wanted though. It is getting harder to find 07s

I think, if you can't find exactly what your looking for go and order your wait could be anywhere from 6-12 weeks. BUT if there are some things you are willing to live with then buy that. I couldn't find exactly what I was looking for. One or two things I didn't want and didn't need so I ordered. Not sure about the leather seat to Yes cloths swap.

Have you checked to see if the dealer can ship one in from further away?

I tried on my 07 Limited and they would not. I have seen postings that they may offer this option on the 08s.

My advice to you is drive around. The search is a peice of junk. There are many dealerships that dont participate in houston. I found a fully loaded limited in houston and it said there wasnt any from the search. Hopefully you can find something. Maybe you can work a deal with the dealership to swap the seats you want to a limited. I have seen stranger deals go down.

AmyK528 I couldn't agree with you more. Just like the internet, I look in the paper almost every day and see ads for Patriots showing 15 "available" I then go to the dealership and they have 2.

Very frustrating. Looks like I may have to order one, I just hope they will give me a good price.

I did my search for the patriot at autotrader.com............. Unfortunately I live in a rural area. One Jeep dealer 30 minutes away, another 60 plus away, 2 to 4 hours drive.

I would call around thats going to be your best bet finding one here.
