I wanted to say Aloha to all: THis is my fist Jeep. I bought the 2009 Jeep Patriot Sport base model. So far I am really really excited about it. I have driven almost 2000 miles on it already and its been the best. I traded in my 2001 Nissan Frontier for the Patriot. The Nissan was nice, but I can say I am proud to finally be back in an American company.
I got the 2.0 Liter model, FWD, and my plans for the Patriot are as follows:
1) Rocky Road 2 1/8 lift kit
2) Slight bigger wheels
3) Need to get tow hitch for my small 14 foot john boat
4) Off road lights
5) KN filter
Probably more too, but for now I will do those above.
I changed the speakers to Pioneer Premier, so far that is all I will do for audio.
I put on Kayak Rack
So far I love this site it has a lot of information that will be useful for me.
