Any of you tried these yet in 225 65 17?

I need new tires for a 2014 pat latitude 4x4 and am finding it next to impossible to decipher what actually fits and what doesn't.

I have scoured this forum but it seems there is conflicting info on 225's and 235 size tires.

about 1/2 of the miles I drive are on dirt and the Hwy type tires just get eaten up. Also have to deal with 7 months of extreme winter.

I have heard the Geolandar A/T-S's suck in snow is this a fact?

What tires actually fit the 17" stock rims with zero probability of rubbing or problems during winter with snow/slush build up in wheel wells?
I have been looking at Toyo Open Country's and Nexen Roadians but they are both 235's.

Small hick town where no one has ever put bigger tires on a Patriot so any concrete help would be appreciated!!!!!

I like the Geolandar A/T-S. I think they do better in snow than all season do but not as good as other A/T tires. They are rated as a winter tire (not to be confused with snow tires) and have a little snow flake symbol on them meaning that in winter in colorado you can drive them during chain restrictions with out chains.

I had the Geolandar AT-S on my FJ fruiser for a couple of years and now have the Geolandar GO15 tires. They have been vastly improved. They ride quiet and smooth plus they are great in the dirt.

Here is a link to the review I did on this tire:

The 225/65R-17 is .52 inches taller overall than your stock tires and fit on wheels 6 to 8 inches wide.
