Hey guys,
I just picked up a new Riot this morning and I have a question about lifting it.
I've been building, Lifting, Lowering, Racing and Off-roading vehicles for about 20 years now so I know I can do the work just fine.
My question is, What lifts are out there for the Patriots?
I know there's the RRO 2 1/8in lift but what else (If any) is out there.
I don't want a really big lift for the Patriot. Say 2in or 3in give or take. I have an old '97 Explorer for my off-roading needs but I still want to have some fun with the Jeep as well.

Whatever info or help y'all can give would be Great and Thank you guys for the help.

Spoon91,

@Spoon91, I spent a decent amount of time researching lift kits because on my old (2010) Patriot, the ground clearance was so bad I actually ripped part of the front facia off while backing in not-very-deep snow. The conclusion I finally made was to go with the RRO kit. The price wasn't bad, and I'm not as mechanical as most of you guys so I'm going to have my mechanic install it. (I already bought it, and the quality of the parts is top-notch) Oh yeah, one more thing. I carefully read the warranty material backwards and frontwards and I'm convinced if I go with RRO they won't be able to go after me if I have warrantee issues down the road. Hope I helped. David

Hi mate,

Welcome to the boards. The search function on this site is your best friend.

Search for it on here and you will find pages of info!
Thanks BLKJ33P for the welcome. I did a small search yesterday but I didn't really see what I was looking for.
I guess I just wanted to hear real world feed back about what kits are out there and what is a better lift for the money.
Thanks again BLK.

Thank you so much for all the info and help DJA.
The RRO kit will most likely be the one I go with, I just want to know my money is going towards a good product.

Thank you guys so much for writing back and helping out.

My Patriot has been to jeep dealer for its lifetime powertrain warranty every 5 years and they said nothing about my stus coils, they said the early patriot springs were weak is all. No problems.
