Santa Cruz area day in the woods? March 9-14

I'll be in Santa Cruz March 9 to 14, and plan to hit up Hollister Hills SVRA, which is an hour out of Santa Cruz.

Any Californians' out there that want to give thier Pats a try in the dirt? It'll just be a day trip for me. Gotta ride the bike the rest of the week.

Well, the Central Coast has seen a great amount of rain and that includes Hollister--so the mud factor is way up there! But then, that's probably "your thing", eh?!

ohhh... thanks for the weather update. Could be a bummer for riding bikes in the woods.

no, rocky mountain roads are my thing. But, when in Cali, do as they do in Cali... ;)

Hope it's ok to resurrect a dead thread, but I just now read this and I live in Monterey. I could get out there in about 40 minutes.

Anytime you want to head out there let me know and we can make plans. I didn't even know this place existed!
